Happy Birthday Maximus & Happy St Patricks Day!

Of course rebel Maci couldn't wear green, she's still hung up on Valentines Day. Maybe

by Easter she'll be into the green thing! ha ha
We had a delicious breakfast of green eggs (nope no ham),

green milk, & green powdered donuts! YUMMY!

Maximus opened all his gifts before Marlena went to school, Maci is not in this picture because she is standing next to me taking her own picture of Maximus.Maximus asked if he could invite a few buddies over for his b-day

to play & eat ice cream & cake.....

Speaking of cake, Maximus asked me to make him a dinosaur cake. The dinosaur bones are made out of sugar cookie dough, I cut out a template & then used the template to create the cookie bones.

Ft Carson 5K/1 mile/1/4 Run

On Sunday March 15th the kids & I registered for the Ft Carson fun runs. Marlena did the 1 mile & finished with a 6:17, Maximus ran the .25 mile & I ran the 5K (which only ended up being 2.6 miles because some military lamo couldn't measure distance!!) & finished with a 22:32 We had lots of fun and it was a gorgeous Colorado day!!

Earthworm Nursery

Maximus recieved an earthworm nursery from Grandma & Papa Guerra a few days before his Birthday, we opened it early seeing as it said "LIVE species" marked in red all over the box!

The worms could hatch anywhere from 1 day to 3 wks.

March 9th VTC with Scott

WOO HOO!!! The kids were able to perform & talk to Scott non-stop. I sat back & smiled laughing as the kids talked over each other to each grab Scott's attention jsut for themselves! They were so so excited to see & here him. It was trully the best 20 minutes we've had in a long time!!
