"Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."- U.S. Army General George S. Patton & 1912 Olympian

Mr. Toothless

In the last 3 wks, Maximus has lost 3 teeth. This picture was taken right after he pulled his top tooth out with a paper towel. It's so funny to hear him talk right now!! HA HA HA

Looks Like Dad!! LOL

So, Maximus was playing with these lil figures & said how this guy looks like dad. "How so?" I asked! He said, "his bald head & legs". This is too awesome!! LOVE IT!

Playing catch with Daddy

I'm dedicating these pictures to Maci's sweet Aunt's: Aunt Kristen & Aunt Renee who do not have a lil girl that loves softball (at least not yet but someday will). Maci is all about wanting to do anything that her big brother does. She's tough & aggressive. Here's daddy practicing with Maci at the park!! Smart Start softball begins in 2 weeks. I think she's ready!!

Camping Trip @ Great Sand Dunes National Park

We rented this A liner pop-up camper from our MWR facility on post, it was wonderful to sleep in it & not on the cold ground.

In the spring this small creek flows through the bottom of the dunes, it's the snow melt from the mountains.

This is 1 of 9 pics I took at an attempt for a good M&M shot.

Maci got out of the backpack to hike in the sand for about 50 meters, Scott wants me to point out her lil quad!!

WOO HOO!! We made it to the top! This was our view......
Our round trip hike in the sand was about 2.75 miles from the parking lot. The kids were amazing, Maximus was unstoppable (never once did he complain).

Cheyenne Mountain State Park

Dad helping Maximus on his new bike!
When we were playing on the playground Maximus found this snake. NO he didn't touch it!

Cheyenne Mt Zoo-our kids are obsessed!!

My Harley Studs

Ok so we've had ALOT of rain since Scott came home, but Scott & I have gone for a couple rides & he's taken Maximus around the neighborhood. Marlena is next, she wanted to go for a long ride off post. So she's chosen to hold out!
